Clinical staff training session in a hospital setting
Phase 08 of 09 4–10 weeks

Staff Training & Operational Readiness

Preparing clinical, biomedical and operational teams to take the building live

Overview

What this phase accomplishes

A commissioned hospital is not yet an operating hospital. Phase 08 prepares every team — clinical, biomedical, IT, support — and writes the standard operating procedures that turn equipment plus people into a functional service.

What we deliver

  • Clinical training for physicians and nurses on the supplied equipment and the planned clinical workflows
  • Biomedical training for the in-house technical team on routine maintenance, safety checks and first-line troubleshooting
  • Technical training for IT staff on HIS, PACS, RIS, EMR and integration monitoring
  • Workflow preparation through table-top simulations and walk-throughs by service line before go-live
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) covering admission, triage, peri-operative care, sterile-supply flow, code-blue response and discharge
Challenges this phase resolves

Where projects typically fail — and how we fix it

Common pitfall

Staff are trained on equipment but not on the integrated workflow, so go-live exposes the gaps

How we solve it: Simulation-based training rehearses the full patient journey, not isolated device operation
Common pitfall

SOPs are written generically and ignored at the bedside

How we solve it: SOPs are co-authored with the clinical leads who will execute them, and validated during simulations
Deliverables

What the client receives at the end

Every phase exits with concrete artifacts. These deliverables become inputs to the next phase, the project record for the client, and the evidence base for regulators and investors.

  1. 01Training records per role and competency
  2. 02SOP library by department and clinical pathway
  3. 03Simulation reports with identified gaps and remediation
