Delivery & customs

We work with the 2020 revision of the ICC Incoterms. EXW, FCA, CIP and CIF are available for buyers with established freight forwarders; DAP and DDP are recommended where the buyer wants a single quoted price with all duties, taxes and last-mile delivery included.

For complex international shipments we default to DAP (Delivered At Place) with the buyer handling import VAT, since this keeps customs filings in the buyer's name for downstream reclaim.

Stocked SKUs ship within 2–5 business days from the regional warehouse closest to the destination. Small parcels and consumables move via international express; pallet freight moves via consolidated air or sea depending on urgency.

Capital equipment (CT, MRI, anesthesia workstations, full endoscopy towers) is generally factory-built to order. Expect 8–14 weeks from order confirmation to ex-works, plus shipping time. Siting surveys can run in parallel so the install date is locked early.

Every consignment includes a commercial invoice, packing list, EUR.1 or certificate of origin where applicable, CE / FDA declarations of conformity for medical devices, and HS-coded line items. For regulated destinations we also provide MDD / MDR technical files, free-sale certificates and apostille documents on request.

Capital equipment ships in custom wooden crates with shock and tilt indicators. Sensitive optical and electronic assemblies are double-boxed with calibrated foam inserts.

On delivery we ask the consignee to inspect external packaging before signing, and to report any visible damage on the carrier's POD. Internal damage (rare) must be reported within 7 calendar days of receipt — we maintain photographic chain-of-custody from the factory line to support claims.

All-risk cargo insurance is included by default on DAP / DDP shipments. EXW and FCA buyers can opt in to our group rate or arrange their own. Capital equipment is insured at full replacement value, including freight and installation costs.
