What this phase accomplishes
Healthcare architecture is governed by clinical workflow, equipment specifications and regulatory norms before aesthetics. Phase 04 is where Tesla Med Systems sits inside the design team — keeping the architect, MEP engineer, biomedical engineer and infection-control lead aligned through one accountable process.

- Architectural consulting on hospital-grade detailing, finishes and code compliance
- Medical planning sign-off on every room before it enters construction documentation
- Equipment-driven room design — vendor envelopes, swing radii, service clearances and weight loads baked into the drawings
- MEP coordination across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and medical-systems disciplines
- HVAC considerations including air changes per hour, filtration class, pressure relationships and humidity control by space type
- Electrical requirements with essential / critical / life-safety branch design and isolated-power systems where mandated
- Medical-gas planning — oxygen, vacuum, medical air, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide — outlet counts, manifold sizing and alarms
- Radiation-protection requirements: shielding survey, lead and concrete thickness, RF cage geometry for MRI
- Sterile-workflow planning between dirty-to-clean processing flows in CSSD, OR and lab

HVAC and medical gas are designed by the MEP engineer alone, without clinical input
Shielding errors are caught only at commissioning, requiring slab and wall demolition
