Overview

The uMR 780 is United Imaging's 3.0T flagship — driven by the proprietary uCS (united Compressed Sensing) platform that combines compressed sensing with parallel imaging and Partial Fourier acceleration. The uCS Processing Engine delivers high-performance compute (memory + data network + premier CPU) with intelligent reconstruction algorithms, enabling ultra-fast reconstruction of large data sets. Maximum acceleration factor: 16×. Spatial resolution: 0.5 mm isotropic. Powerful SuperSystem: industry-leading uniform magnet (170 cm short magnet, 50 cm FOV with excellent homogeneity), high-performance gradient, high-density RF channel architecture with independent low-noise amplifiers on each coil element. Clinical applications span neurology (T1/T2/DIR/T2 FLAIR Matrix, brachial plexus, whole-spine imaging in 2 acquisitions), body (3D dynamic enhancement, MRCP), orthopedics + angiography (TOF, vessel wall imaging), cardiology (cine, perfusion, viability), women's health (breast with dedicated coil), pediatrics. Advanced applications: SWI+ with virtual TE reconstruction, DCE perfusion, DTI, BOLD, CSI / MRS.
