Overview
The uDR Aurora is United Imaging's ceiling-suspended flagship DR — an "auto-driving" room DR built around the uVERA Intelligent Imaging Workflow platform. uVERA covers the full workflow with AI: positioning, exposure, processing, diagnosis and quality control. The uAI Vision Camera uses multi-modal visual sensors with real-time perception to build a 3D model of the patient — automatically recognising the whole body, multiple regions and 100+ key points. This drives intelligent one-step positioning, intelligent collimation that auto-adjusts to patient body size, and intelligent parameter setting that adapts exposure to thickness. AI-enabled QA fires before / during / after exposure: positioning-error alert before exposure, smart-check post-exposure quality grading, and analytics-driven retrospective scoring of operator and equipment performance. The uVERA IQ imaging chain applies multi-level optimization for low-dose imaging: multi-scale denoise (+32 % SNR), fine structure enhancement (+36 % contrast), tissue equalization (+46 % contrast). Pediatric-optimized exposures hit sub-1 μGy·cm² DAP at 52–60 kV / ~5 mAs. Automatic stitching with fusion algorithm delivers full-spine AP/LAT and full-length lower-limb AP with seamlessly integrated images.
