Overview
The uCT 550 is positioned as a "Powerful. Proven." workhorse for routine radiology, emergency, oncology follow-up and pediatric imaging. Like the rest of the uCT family, it is built around UIH's Z-Detector — a fully-integrated through-silicon-via (TSV) detector that shortens the signal path from centimeter to micron scale, reducing electronic noise to single-photon level. uDose intelligent tube-current modulation and KARL 3D iterative denoising deliver low-dose protocols across the case mix.
